It's a good thing he was so shy and could channel all that pent up stuff into such an awesome outlet. I remember at the time people (probably, mostly Jon S.) telling me that certain songs that Jon T. had written were about me and it always seemed like such a strange paradox that he could be so petrified to talk to me face to face but at the same time could get up in front of a crowded room with me in the middle of it and sing about his innermost thoughts/feelings. It still baffles me.
